TEMPLE BAPTIST FAIRVIEW TO MINISTER IN JALAPA
A group of volunteers from the Fairview, Alabama campus of Temple Baptist Church (above) will minister in Jalapa, Los Laureles, and Los Pinos in late June. They will be doing evangelism, VBS activities, and church support ministries, including a ministry to the residents of the city dump. Pastor Buchanan Jackson (below) will lead this ministry team. The church is hoping to establish an ongoing presence in Jalapa. Please pray from them as they prepare for this trip.

OPERATION AMALIA
Because of generous donations to the diaper ministry, Operation Amalia is being expanded to at least 15 infants per month. Each week the mothers bring their infants from the city dump to the clinic at Los Laureles, where each baby receives an examination, bath, and diaper supplies. The report from the clinic staff is that the appearance of the babies' skin has improved greatly since the beginning of the program. Also, the mothers are receiving valuable education in hygiene and infant care. Most importantly, they get to see the love of Jesus in action every week.

CLINIC IN HAITI??
A wonderful opportunity lies before us. A very generous donation has been received for the purpose of starting a third clinic. At the same time, doors for ministry have opened for us in Haiti, and preliminary steps are being taken to see if this is indeed a possibility. The Advisory Board of Four Friends International is prayerfully evaluating this option. You will hear more about this from us in the coming months.
DONATION UPDATE
Each $250 donation to Four Friends International provides a day of medical care at both Los Laureles and Los Pinos (i.e. $125/day each). This includes medications, clinic staff, and utilities. Our goal is to be able to provide care the entire year at both clinics six days each week. To date, we have received enough funds to continue care through March 15. Thank you for your gracious support of this ministry.
